Stack Newcastle General Information for Customers

We are no longer taking any bookings for STACK Newcastle, no matter the group size. Our site is designed to be a walk in venue, where benches are on a first come basis.

Stack Newcastle is a welcoming social hub, providing a safe environment to ensure all visitors can have an enjoyable experience.

We are no longer taking any bookings for STACK Newcastle, no matter the group size. Our site is designed to be a walk in venue, where benches are on a first come basis all day, every day.

We have a relaxed dress code however, as a general rule - on evenings and weekends we advise smart casual and if wearing sportswear you may be refused entry.

Please remember this is an outdoor venue so dress appropriately for the weather especially in the winter months.

STACK Newcastle does not allow fancy dress. Unfortunately any guests arriving in fancy dress, will be refused entry.

Our site is fully accessible with a heavy duty lift providing access to our upper plaza.

Families are very welcome to visit Stack.

Under 18’s visiting the main STACK Plaza area must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or an adult aged 25 or over at all times due to the nature of the business being a licensed premises serving alcohol. You will require physical photo I.D to enter STACK.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be off site by 8pm. As procedure, you will be gently reminded from 7pm that all children must vacate the site within the hour, and may be refused entry during this time. 

WE OPERATE A CHALLENGE 25 POLICY. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 then you will be asked to show identification. This will need to be a physical approved ID document.

Although the venue serves food, you are entering a licensed premises where alcohol can be purchased, therefore teenagers must be accompanied by an adult aged 25. This policy is in place to protect our license and reduce the risk of alcohol being purchased for under 18’s.

STACK prohibits the consumption of beer, wine or cider to anyone under the age of 18 even if they are taking a table (substantial) meal.

We have the right to refuse service and/or entry to the premises - without providing you with a reason. 

Dogs are welcome up until 7pm everyday – there is a signed doggy water station inside the venue. Please be respectful of other customers and do not allow your pooch to sit on the benches.

Please be aware that photographs taken within the venue may appear in advertising literature or on our website.

Some of our street food traders are still operating a Click & Collect service.

Please come to the front of the venue and mention to a member of door staff that you are collecting food, you will be shown to your trader. 

Once food is collected, you must exit the site - no click and collect food can be consumed on the premises.
