Lovers of all things festive are invited to enjoy a cosy trip to Hadrian’s Tipi this festive season – as STACK Newcastle welcomes back the pop-up to celebrate the start of Christmas across the city.

The festive pop up – which features warming fire pits, festive lighting, cosy seating areas and acoustic entertainment is back in action this year after Covid restrictions cut the event short in 2020.

And organisers anticipate a busy run up to Christmas as the Tipi gets set to host a series of events and party gatherings.

Large groups, corporate bookings and party-goers alike can now book a reserved bench and party package within the festive space, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate their Christmas gatherings in style.

Surrounded by 12 independent street food traders within the plaza, serving everything from Bao Buns and Boojie Burgers, to Thai delights and the best Parmo this side of the Tyne – the Tipi has proved the perfect place, year on year, to enjoy a fun-filled trip or Christmas gathering.

Christmas bookings can enquire now via: www.stacknewcastle.com

Customers can also expect a series of Christmas themed events for 2021, including the return of the popular children’s Mini Elves’ party, this time situated in STACK’s main plaza and free entry for all.

And for the adults, Kroud Karaoke - the north east’s biggest sing-along event – is scheduled to raise the roof monthly, bringing feel good vibes to STACK on Friday 19 November and Friday 10 December.

Other festive events will also include weekly Trivia and Rock ‘n Pop Quizzes, along with a special Christmas Swing Session on the lead up to the big day, hosted by talented vocalist Paul Skerritt on Monday 22 December.

Please keep an eye on STACK Newcastle’s Facebook page for more information on events and dates.

Neill Winch, CEO for Danieli Group said:

“It’s our great pleasure to bring Hadrian’s Tipi back this winter – the pop up has become a staple of festive celebrations in Newcastle throughout the past few years and is adored by all ages.”

“STACK’s varied line-up of entertainment will continue throughout the Tipi’s stay, ensuring our visiting customers have the best possible experience.”

Gemma Dishman, Marketing & Special Projects Manager concluded:

“The Tipi is one of our most popular events – after such a terrible 2020, where the hospitality industry saw great uncertainty, we are very excited to be bringing some festive cheer to the city centre this time round. Hadrian’s Tipi is a much-loved and anticipated offering that only elevates the winter festival atmosphere STACK Newcastle has become famous for.”

Hadrian’s Tipi will take up residency at STACK Newcastle until the end of January 2022. For details on party bookings or Christmas events, please visit www.stacknewcastle.com
